The LokBlok concept was invented in the mid 1990s. The design was fine tuned and a patent was applied for. After several years in the patent office the product was granted patent number 7,882,674.

Molds have been designed, manufactured, and honed to produce a product that can directly replace an 8x8x16 Concrete Masonry Unit.

Shortly after the prototypes were created in May 2012, Chairman Frank L McKenzie was involved in a horrific car accident (August 2012) which left him paralyzed from the chest down. He spent months in the hospital and years in rehab. For reasons unknown, his partners did not pursue LokBlok during his rehabilitation years. They let the company fall into revoke, administrative abandonment status. When Frank acquired majority control of LokBlok Inc. (September 2018) he found out since the company was revoked through SOS, he could create a New LokBlok Inc. Frank made the decision to do just that, as he will not allow his handicap get in his is way of his dream to bringing LokBlok to fruition, and Revolutionize the Building Industry. After all, the car accident was a business trip for LokBlok, Inc.
